Ozi Jones is a Speech-Language Pathologist, founder and Clinical Director of The Onyx Clinic, and Adjunct Professor with McMaster University’s School of Rehabilitation Science. With more than 15 years of experience across hospital, community, and private practice settings, Ozi brings a broad clinical perspective to the assessment and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders.

Her clinical experience includes stroke and acquired brain injury, dysphagia, voice, pediatric communication, and neurodevelopmental and social communication needs. She is committed to creating clinical experiences in which clients and families feel heard, respected, informed, and actively involved in their care.

In addition to her clinical work, Ozi has a strong interest in quality improvement, evidence-informed practice, and advancing equity, diversity, inclusion and accessibility within healthcare and the speech-language pathology profession. She served on the Board of Directors of Speech-Language & Audiology Canada from 2023–2025 and as Chair of its Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility Committee for 2025–2026. During her term, she developed a national EDIA framework and toolkit of resources for speech-language pathologists and audiologists.

Ozi brings together clinical practice, education, leadership, and a commitment to accessible and culturally responsive care in her work with clients, families, and fellow professionals.
