We are a team of highly skilled speech-language pathologists and communicative disorders assistants who are dedicated to providing quality care to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Our founder, Ozi Jones, is a passionate and experienced speech-language pathologist who recognizes the need for culturally responsive and equitable speech and language services. As a Black woman, Ozi understands the unique challenges that individuals from diverse backgrounds can face when seeking health care services. Ozi created the Onyx Clinic to provide a safe and welcoming space for individuals from all backgrounds to receive quality speech and language services that are tailored to their unique needs.
At the Onyx Clinic, we believe that everyone deserves the option to seek speech and language services, from clinicians with lived experiences of systemic racism. We are proud to serve individuals from every community and help them achieve their communication goals.

Ozi Jones MHM, MSc. S-LP, (C) Reg CASLPO
Ozi has served as a clinical Speech Language Pathologist for over 14 years in hospitals, communities, and private practice. She has developed hospital programs for Speech and Language services, and has a passion for quality improvement.
Her clinical and research interests lie in voice, swallowing, stroke quality improvement, and equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) within the field of Speech-Language Pathology.
She sits as one of the Board of Directors for Speech-Language and Audiology Canada and is a member of their EDI committee. She serves as an adjunct professor for McMaster's School of Rehabilitation Sciences. Ozi’s experience in health management and her passion for EDI bring a unique lens to serving our communities.
